Do you love working with auto parts? As a Parts Specialist at Graff Mt. Pleasant, you will not only assist our customers in finding and delivering the right parts for their needs, but you’ll work closely with our mechanics to provide the right parts for repairs and upgrades. We’re looking for someone to join our team who has strong organization and communication skills, and whose passion for auto parts will fuel the accurate completion of automotive maintenance, repair jobs, and parts delivery. Our ideal candidate is also someone who is able to conduct themselves with professionalism and friendliness in their every interaction with our customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: promptly meet and greet customers in a professional, enthusiastic manner; deliver and pick-up parts as requested; look up parts in dealer system to assist customers with ordering; organize delivery schedule to maximize efficiency; assist in keeping Parts department clean; provide Service Technicians with parts as needed; maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Good communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing; ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; high School diploma or equivalent; must be detail oriented and well organized; basic computer skills/familiarity required; minimum 2 years’ experience required; all applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, physical and valid driver license with good driving record.

Master Service Technician
Graff Mt. Pleasant’s service center supports our community by offering steadfast maintenance and repair solutions that allow our customers to get back on the road with confidence. As an Automotive Master Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that every vehicle that enters our building is treated with care, diligence, and leaves performing at its very best. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of automotive repair skill, someone who takes immense pride in their tasks, and who is dedicated to our customer’s safety and security.
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, and in accordance with dealership test-drive vehicles, test components, and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.; clearly communicate directly with the Service Adviser so that dealership customers can be informed of the status of their vehicle and if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs; execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications; ensure customer vehicles are kept clean; uphold dealership service quality standards and expectations.
High school diploma; Master Certification in Automotive; ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information; knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance; must be a fast learner; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills; team player; must have a valid driver’s license; ability to maintain a neat and orderly workstation; ability to identify problems quickly.

Automotive Detailer/Car Washer

As a Graff Automotive Detailer/Car Washer, your foremost responsibility is to ensure that our customers feel that their time, trust, and investment were well-placed when they decided to purchase a vehicle from us, or trusted us to detail their vehicle and return it to them better than when they dropped it off. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with high attention to detail who takes immense pride in their work, and who keeps in mind how they would want their own vehicle to look. Additionally, they must be able to work efficiently, remaining mindful of the value of our customers’ time.
Wash the exterior and interior of vehicles according to customer wishes; shampoo and vacuum vehicle interiors (seats, rugs, trunk, roof); wax and buff vehicles using cloths and buffing machines; vacuum dirt and remove debris, clean upholstery and surfaces, use air compressors and cloths to dry surfaces and apply preservation chemicals to surfaces for protection against spots and stains; apply dyes, paints, and waxes to protect interior fabrics; clean and remove any grease on engines or engine compartments.
Previous experience in automotive detailing is required. Other requirements include, but are not limited to: ability to stand for several hours, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., etc.; valid driver’s license is required; must be a fast learner; excellent communication skills; team player; must be able to pass pre-employment testing including: background check, MVR, drug test, proof of valid driver license, clean driving record.
